Today something completely different. Last week you watched videos about the Vikings and answered questions. If you didn’t watch these go back and look at 29.04.20 lesson before you do this.
Today you’re going to use your historical knowledge to help you to design a Viking Longship figurehead.
At the curved front end of a Viking longship was a carved wooden figurehead. Figureheads on ships were meant to scare enemies and were often shaped like dragons or snakes. Have a go at designing your own.
