Oliver's Vegetables

Today I would like you to sequence the story.  Do not worry if you do not have a printer, just make your own story map by drawing a simple picture for each day.

1 chilli - order/draw the events of the story. Add a label for each picture.

1. The chips. 

2. Pick the veg.

3. potatoes

The children will need to be shown the sound ch, v j and sound out potatoes so the child can find the sounds on the sound chart. The children are likely to spell veg - vej.

 

2 chillies - order/draw the events of the story.  Add simple sentences for each picture.

1.He eats chips.

2.He picks vegetables.

3.He picks potatoes

This is likely to look more like this - He eets chips.  He picks vejtabls.  He picks potaitoas.

 

3 chillies - order/draw the events of the story. Add sentence for each picture

1. He eats lots of chips. 

2. He picks lots of vegetables. 

3.He finds the potatoes and makes chips.

This is likely to look more like this: He eets lots chips.  He picks lots of vejtabls.  He fighnds the potaitoas and maiks chips.
