What food is traditionally eaten in Africa?


In this cookery task, Year 2 undertake research in the traditional foods that are eaten in Africa. This is linked to the Geography curriculum. They then use what they have found out to design and make their own African bread and Salad, which they go on to evaluate. The skills the children use when making the bread are measuring, mixing, and baking and when making the salad cutting, mixing and tasting.
