Friday 24th April

Your final English lesson for this week is your last task to do with the video BROKEN: Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Today, we would like you to use lots of skills you have been taught throughout year 6 to write a setting description. Remember, setting descriptions DO NOT need to be really long in length but they MUST allow the reader to visualise. There is a WAGOLL attached to help you with some ideas.

Some skills you could use are:

1. Punctuation for parenthesis

2. Relative clauses

3. Figurative language - metaphor, similes, personification, alliteration, hyperbole, oxymoron, onomatopoeia

3. Pronouns

4. Cohesive devices
