Southampton School Games Daily Challenge
Collectively, the Hampshire and Isle of Wight SGO's have produced a timetable of fun and engaging activities that all children can access and participate in, wherever they may be and whatever equipment they have access to. All activities are designed based upon achieving individual personal best.
Each week they will be rewarding students that achieve the most progression. The SGO s will also be offering prizes for schools that achieve the highest participation from students.
Finally, there will be daily updates and regular cross-curricular challenges that will be shared by the SGO's. These will include researching other countries and cultures and finding out about new Olympic sports, to name but a few.
The SGOs look forward to parents and children sharing photos and videos of all the activities they have taken part in. There may also be spot prizes for the best posts and tweets! Don't forget to use the #HSGDailyChallenge in your posts and tweets, as well as tagging your local SGO (@SouthamptonSGO) or Sports Partnerships so they can see what you are up to and the impact this challenge is having across Hampshire!
The link to the #HSGDailyChallenge initiative on social media platforms will be forwarded to parents by text.
