Today, we are continuing our work on length. Yesterday, we looked at centimetres (CM) and today we will be introducing millimetres (MM).

There are 10mm in 1cm.

So how many mm are in 3cm? Simple! Multiply the centimetres by 10 to find the answer in millimetres.

3 x 10 = 30

There are 30mm in 3cm.

How might this look on a ruler?

Task 2:

Answer the questions. If you find the images a little blurry, try zooming in. If you are still struggling, just estimate!

Task 3:

Reasoning and problem solving.
