Year 5

Hi Pigeons and Blackbirds,

We hope you are all staying safe, staying indoors and looking after each other. As you know, we are now uploading daily Maths, English and Topic learning tasks which can be found if you click on the buttons on this page and then click on the date. We hope that you have been taking a look at these and giving them your best go! When you have completed your tasks, make sure you send them to us on:

We have really enjoyed receiving the work we have seen so far but would love to hear from more of you and see what you have been getting up to at home.

Although keeping up with your learning at home is very important, we hope you are also looking after yourself mentally and physically as well. You could do this by making sure you tune in to Joe Wicks PE sessions ( each day or by doing some other form of daily exercise.

Mrs Mulcahy has been going on daily walks with Monty to help her keep active and has discovered some interesting birds that she'd like some help identifying (see videos below).

We hope you and all of your families are ok and are staying safe.

Hi Pigeons and Blackbirds,

Hope you are all well and enjoying the new learning tasks! Mrs Mulcahy has been busy in her garden, as well as thinking of exciting activities for you to complete, and she has discovered a birds nest. After some research and observations she has deduced that the bird that is looking after her eggs is a Blackbird! Although she can't be with her class of Blackbirds, she is still looking after Blackbirds in her garden.

Keep exploring and you never know what you might discover.

But make sure you are staying in and keeping safe.
