Thornhill Primary School participates in a number of Southampton Solent University research projects.
The most recent has was based upon:
'Heart rate, energy expenditure, and affective responses from children participating in trampoline park sessions compared with traditional extra-curricular sports clubs.'
This project was based at Thornhill's ASC clubs and at Oxygen Freejumping centre. The scientific report can be found here:
In Autumn 2019, Thornhill and Solent University will be working closely upon projects based upon:
1) Participation of SEND pupils and Inclusive Sports.
2) The effects of using Social Marketing Strategies on Physical Literacy
